Accounting Software

Xero is our focus and our supported software applications are chosen to work best with the Xero ecosystem. However, we are happy to work with any other accounting platform if desired.

Integrations

Intersect is willing to work with any integrated software applications, or customised accounts integrations. Key apps in our standard “Business Toolkit” include:

  • Stripe or Square for payments
  • HubDoc or Squirrel Street for documents and data extraction
  • Xero Projects, Service M8, Tradify, or Ascora for job/project management
  • Connecteam for team management and onboarding
  • Lightspeed and Square for e-commerce
  • Sharesight for investors
  • Office 365, G-Suite, and Dropbox for document creation, management, and collaboration

Pricing

Compliance & Support

On-demand compliance checks and platform help when you need it.

  • Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR) = $80 + GST
  • Income Activity Statement (IAS) = $80 + GST
  • Business Activity Statement (BAS) = $195 + GST
  • Xero / Easy Business App Support = <15 minutes av. per month Free
  • Casual rates apply for any additional work

Best For: Sole-traders and micro businesses wanting to ensure they have reconciled their accounts suitably for tax compliance lodgement (IAS/BAS/TPAR) and want the benefit of direct (phone/SMS/email) support with their accounting from time to time. We may either fix the issue directly or provide support article links with a screen capture walk-through or video to explain the process if this is something you need to do on a regular basis. 


Monthly Plans

Focusing on SMEs, we find that most businesses will fall into these service categories. All plans include Xero / Easy Business App (EBA) support for everything included in the plan.

 

Peace of Mind ($130/mth +GST)

Monthly oversight with payroll reconciliation and simple reports — perfect for staying on top of key accounts without the extras.

  • All tax compliance reporting: IAS, BAS, and TPAR (up to 10 contractors).
  • Payroll reconciliation and compliance reports SGC Statements, STP Finalisation (up to 5 staff)
  • Monthly accounts review and reporting, including standard management reports and any specific account tracking requested.

Best For: Small businesses who largely want to handle their own accounts but are looking to expand and/or make sure they stay on top of key accounts (e.g. payroll expenses and reconciliation, ATO BAS account payments, monthly sales…), profitability, and cashflow. 


Business Essentials ($195/mth +GST)

Help where you need it – Compliance and basic reporting, plus payroll support and management (up to 5 staff) or accounts payable processing.
 
  • Everything included in Peace of Mind
  • Either: Payroll management and processing (up to 5 staff) or Accounts Payable (Bills) document management, processing and reconciliation.
  • Setup and support for integrated payment gateways (e.g. Stripe, Square, eWay)

Best For: Small businesses needing assistance with connecting payment gateways and/or ready to delegate payroll or accounts payable document management and processing.


Business Growth ($260/mth +GST) <Most Popular>

Your accounts and bookkeeping partner – full reconciliation, payroll (5 staff), accounts payable, payment gateways, advanced reporting and insights (Syft), and integrated app support.
 
  • Everything included in Business Essentials
  • All standard accounts reconciliation and management (excludes inventory and projects)
  • Reconciliation of external systems with the accounts (e.g. non-integrated POS)
  • Additional reporting and business insights with Syft (Xero clients only)
  • Partner/Advisor app integration and support (refer to our “Business Toolkit”)

Best For: Growing businesses using Xero that need full bookkeeping and wanting integrated app support or deeper reporting insights.


Business Plus ($335/mth +GST)

For those businesses with more complex operations, workflows, or bespoke accounts requirements – up to 10 staff, Xero inventory and projects support, complex/detailed app integrations and agreed tasks.
 
  • Everything in Business Growth
  • Payroll management and support up to 10 staff
  • Xero Projects + Inventory management
  • Complex or detailed app integration, setup, and support (ERP, E-Commerce, Inventory, etc.)
  • Agreed non-Xero/EBA app tasks and reporting (e.g. POS syncing, inventory reports, etc.) 

Best For: Expanding businesses with complex operations or workflows, inventory or project management requirements, and detailed or complex accounts integrations (e.g. ERP, Job management with job costings, etc.). Not recommended for businesses using EBA.

Nathan has been working with the church for the last two years, assisting us with migrating and modernising our accounts and records keeping systems. This has included training our volunteers on new accounting and software systems, BAS review and lodgement, reporting as required for church board enquiries and governance, and co-ordinating the accounts “refresh” and alignment as required with our sister organisation Acts Church International Ltd.
